Dim, dark for a moment,
Then all of a sudden bright,
They look up, pause a sec,
Then move on away,
After all, just a flickering light,

She looked up, paused,
And she gazed deeper inside,
I let her catch a glimpse of the chaos I hide,
And she moved on away,

I smiled as the painful expectation had met,
Flickered, time and then,
As the world passed,
And I closed my eyes,

Electricity flowed with a rush,
Brightness intensified,
As I looked down,
She was back, checking the wire she had tied,

And again, I had recovered my light,
Till today, when I saw her again,
I looked inside of me, that wire,
It was a moment filled with immense pain,

She robbed me of my flickers,
That no less than a martyr,
Now there she was,
With a huge smile,
‘My’ flickering light.

Love is all about listening,
They say,
Love is when you listen and understand,
And yet, last night,
I had to take her stand, 
But I didn’t do it out of might,
Well, I listened, listened to my heart,
I understood, her words and also the silent part,
To her, I became the devil,
Cause I couldn’t let her lie,
Hours passed, as she hated me more and more,
And all I could do was try,
So I saw her,
Eyes glistening like pearls,
Pulled her in my arms,
And glanced at her bitten fingers,
Whispered in her ears why I did it,
She didn’t say much, 
Only tighter she then started to linger,
Well, I did,
I did listen to her, 
Well, to her inner voice,
So yeah,
Love is all about listening,
And so I do,
Maybe she isn’t that brave to say some things yet,
But I know I’ll keep her before me,
And listening to that silence is something I love to do,

‘Helloooo!!!!’, I snapped out of musings,

I’ve seen people shout,
Great men are the ones who make history,
But today I write about,
The girl who was lost in a known mystery,
With a heart as weak as short she’d dress,

For hands so tiny, this was too much to hold,
Coated with tats,

And she mused,
About the mother who left her on a road,
And the father, mumbling, “Was I a load?”
And she wept,
With paining legs she crept,
She had just a rag for her beauty, to cover,
The blood on her face, red makeup by a ‘lover’,
Raped by a beast,
Murdered by choice,
Died in a crowd,
Uttering,

So rough was the rain,
As if heaven was crying,
Heavy drops on soft petals,
Thunder clapped as the beauty was dying,
The artistic, tiny flower,
Once danced in the drizzle,
At times, swayed with the light breeze,
But the new bud was still in a puzzle,
How the music of the rain became a noise,
How the shower of love became a painful poise,
The bud, she saw the flower fall to rest,
She saw the raindrop hit her mother’s chest,
The red elixir of life splattered on her face,
In moments, the sky was quite,
The wind had gone, painting the walls red from white,
She still still bloomed amidst the rubble and whither,
Memories of the storm had again now hit her,
It wasn’t the music of her brother’s videogame,
It was guns and rifles, from where the noise had came,
There were no clouds for the drought hit lands,
Massacred for no good, by monstrous hands,
Deep inside the flowery form she knew,
Lives of millions were in pathetic hands of few,
No food to eat, no water to drink,
Hours in the bunker she’d think,
How cruel is the war out there?!,
Boom!! Came a huge blast,
And she vanished in a blink.

I was really excited,
I was to meet her,
After a wait of so many days,
And a lot of restless Nights,
Every passing second was making us closer,
Every inch of my body was anxious to see her,
Finally, I was there,
Standing in front of her,
Just a few steps away,

The deep brown ones,

Though, she looked tense,
That no one notices us,

Suddenly, our eyes met,

These eyes conversed continuously,
In their own dialect,
Sharing feelings, emotions,
That no words can ever explain,
The sun was setting in,
Spreading its golden wealth,
Trying to provide comfort,
To the two souls,
Who were going to be parted away soon,
By the sluttish time,
Which was running faster than ever,
It had just been an hour or so,
But now, it was time to leave,
I could see her, going away,
Every step she took,
Added a tear in our eyes,
Hoping for that day to come soon,
When we will be together again,
With plenty of time,
And nothing to worry about,
